Kadamban Trailer – A Look | Tamil movie 2017
Right from Prabu\’s Vietnam Colony to the critically acclaimed blockbuster James Cameron\’s Avatar, the basic plot has been really simple. Chasing away the native inhabitants, for financial or other motives.
Apocalypto was a visual wonder with the strong story, powerful characters and mind blowing visuals. Debut Director Ragav\’s Kadamban seems to be inspired from Apocalypto and also, seems to be adapted to Indian native style of cinema.
Trailer portrays the story easily that a native forester faces the threat of losing his locality and thereby, his identity due to a corporate businessman. He has to do something to stop this from happening. What will he do must be the crux of the story.
Music elevates the mood easily and the composer is Yuvan Shankar Raja who has recently crossed 20 years in Tamil cinema and has quietly making a comeback recently with his hits in Nenjam Marapathillai and Yaakai. So, music wise the movie is in good hands and we are waiting for the songs to be released along with everyone.
Also, visuals look great and VFX looks a bit shady and cartoon-like at some places, especially in the dog fight scene.
Overall, Chiseled looking Arya is in a need of a good comeback after a long hiatus and he is one of the producers of the movie and let\’s hope the movie be his comeback wagon.
