Meesaya Murukku has released on July 21st 2017. The movie has faced many issues and not just the issue with GST, but other financial and creative issues, as the movie team released their teaser long back in October 2016.

Hiphop Tamizha in their directorial debut. The film is Written by the Hiphop Tamizha. Adhi plays the lead role in his debut feature film. The movie also features Padma Shri. Vivek (Best Comedian of Tamil Cine Industry), Aathmika (debut movie) and RJ Vigneshkanth (Smile Settai).

Twirl the moustache, (மீசைய முறுக்கு) is a romantic musical film. The movie is Produced by Sundar C under the Production company, Avni Movies. Cinematography is worked by U. K. Senthil Kumar (Muthuramalingam), Kiruthi Vasan and Edited by Fenny Oliver.

A musical duo band of Adhithya Ramachandran Venkatapathy \”Adhi\”, started with their first commercial album song \”Club le Mabbu le\” in 2011, song faced immense criticism due to its portrayal and depiction of Tamil women. In 2013, the band comes up with \”Iraiva\”, song portrays Drug addiction leading to the death of youngsters. Next, comes \”Vaadi Pulla Vaadi\”, a struggle of love facing caste and status.

Hiphop Tamizha enters into film music, with a kick start song \”Chennai City Gangsta\”, for Vanakkam Chennai, which was composed by Anirudh Ravichander. They have done film scores for Aambala, Indru Netru Naalai, Thani Oruvan, Aranmanai 2, Kathakali, Kaththi Sandai, Kavan and Meesaya Murukku.

The video song on Jallikattu, \”Takkaru Takkaru\”, boosted a sensational inspiration for many youths to support Jallikattu.

The film team released a promotional song, \”Sait Ji\”, in late 2016. Although it became a viral hit on YouTube, Sundar C. received a legal notice from Ashok G Lodha. Lodha objected to the words \”Sait Ji\”, meaning \”affluent trader\”, feeling it was \”a classic example of abuse of the (Jain) community in the name of creativity and art.\” The words were removed not only from the song but also from the finished film. The YouTube video itself was deleted later.
