Madras Central\’s Livin\’ has come out with their next episode \”New Ho in Da House\” and this hilarious and also, a bit quirky episode has increased our curiosity in the series.

Recap:
Haritha (Amrutha) invites Harish\’s (Kanna Ravi) sister to their home, which freaks out Harish. They have an argument and Haritha leaves the house as the result of Harish\’s bickering. Harish misses Haritha and gets her back to the apartment and they are greeted by \”dirty-chatting\” Sam (Naveen George Thomas) and a female voice, which turns out to be Sam\’s girlfriend.
After Sam leaves the house, they speak with Sam\’s Girlfriend and they realize Sam\’s girlfriend is actually a virtual assistant like Siri and is called as \”Iris\”. Amidst the Scarlett Johnson\’s Her movie-like scenes, Sam is in a call with mysterious someone and talks about some hardware order.
What works out?
Prabhuram Vyas and his expert usage of witty yet thought-provoking dialogues.
Amrutha and Kanna Ravi\’s realistic performance and screen presence and particularly in the argument scene.
Beautifully thought, shot, edited and presented texting scene between the lead pair with the wall as the background.
Hilarious and unexpected reference to Game of Throne\’s Jaimie Lannister- Cersei Lannister\’s incestual relationship.
What doesn\’t work out?
Sam\’s portrayal and appearance are slowly turning to be stereotypical nerd type but, the upcoming episodes and the twist with IRIS might change that.
Our Verdict:
Another good episode with beautifully infused creativity and modern thoughts. Yet, Sam\’s character and Naveen\’s performance might need a tad bit of chiseling.
