Richie Trailer Review | Nivin Pauly, Natty, Shraddha Srinath, Lakshmi Priyaa | Gautham Ramachandran

Nivin Pauly is someone who doesn\’t mind experimenting stuff and his wide array of characters speaks for this. Now, for the first time, he is acting in a full-length direct Tamil movie, Thanks to director Gautham Ramachandran.

Richie is inspired by Kannada hit \”Ulidavaru Kandanthe\” and also has, Sathuranga Vettai fame Natty, Shraddha Srinath, and Lakshmi Priyaa Chandramouli, who is trending now for controversial \”Lakshmi\” short film.

The trailer is dark and in some way resembles the darkhorse, Vikram Vedha and we could understand the story is about a female reporter who is writing a series about a real-life incident which features the lead male actors. 

The trailer is raw and Nivin looks menacing with beard look, reminding us the loved Premam, and his pan-chewing look makes us wonder if this is the same timid lover of Neram or the shy guy from Bangalore days. 

Natty is a natural actor and it feels we will instantly connect with his character and Lakshmi Priyaa plays his love and it would be interesting see the characters of both talented actors. One another factor in Richie that reminds us of Vikram Vedha is Shraddha Srinath and she looks fresh and convincing as an intense reporter.  

The BGM by Ajaneesh is uncanny and it would look great on the silver screen when Nivin gets into action mode. Pandi Kumar\’s DOP deserves special mention for glorious shots in a rugged area and even more rugged storyline. We can\’t wait to watch the camera\’s magic in silver screen. 

Overall, Richie is a move worth waiting for and we wish the movie to be a blockbuster and so that, we can see more direct Tamil flicks of talented Nivin Pauly.
