Survivor Tamil Grand Launch episode 1 contestants, recap & rules explained | Zee Tamil

Survivor Tamil is the Indian – Tamil version of international reality show franchise Survivor which is telecasted in Zee Tamil channel.

The show format splits 16 contestants who are left as castaways in Zanzibar Islands, Africa into tribes (Kaadargal & Vedargal) and the sole survivor wins 1 crore rupees as ultimate reward.

Action King Arjun Sarja is the host for this season 1. The contestants are Vikranth, Vijayalakshmi Agathiyan, Indraja Shankar, VJ Parvathy, Gayathri Reddy, Aishwarya, Lucky Narayan, Nandha, Besant Ravi, Saran Sakthi, Srushti Dange, Ram C, Amjath Khan, Lakshmi Priya Chandramouli, Lady Kash, Umapathy Ramaiah.

In episode 1, the contestants are split into two groups and the rules are explained which includes, no personal items except basic clothes can be taken. The show will have two different tasks.

The reward task will let the castaways fight within each other as tribes and winning tribe gets equipments or food as rewards. The immunity task will male sure the losing team take part in tribe council in weekend to vote away one of their team members out of the game. The show will be for 90 days starting 12th September 2021.
