Director Siddique (Kerala) known for his famous family entertainer movies filled with comedy. He himself or his stories have been remade from Malayalam to Tamil and also to other languages from the starting of his career.
Siddique, is now remaking his own Malayalam movie Bhaskar The Rascal (2015) in Tamil as Bhaskar Oru Rascal (2017). Bhaskar The Rascal (2015) is a comedy family film.
The Star Cast of the movie replacing Malayalam Megastar Mammootty is played by Arvind Swamy, who is back into action after the successful antagonist role in Thani Oruvan. The Bhaskar Mudhalali character is action oriented, So, we expect more action here.
Amala Paul replaces Nayantara as female lead. Sanoop Santhosh and Baby Anikha played the kids role. Baby Anikha, has acted in Yennai Arindhaal with Thala Ajithkumar and Trisha. These kids has been replaced with Sethupathi and Rekka fame Master Raghavan, who acted with Vjay Sethupathi, will play as Arvind’s son. Theri fame Nainika, actor Meena\’s daughter will play as Amala’s daughter in the film.
Apart from Chennai, Kolkata will be another main location of Bhaskar Oru Rascal. In the Malayalam it was Kerala and Mumbai.
J. D. Chakravarthy, Janardhanan, Kalabhavan Shajon, Harisree Ashokan and Saju Navodaya have played as supporting characters.
Parotta Soori, Robo Shankar and Ramesh Khanna will play these roles we except more comedy in Tamil.
Deepak Dev was the Music Director, D. Imman replaces him Tamil.
