Game of Thrones Season 7 is here | What are your favorite GoT characters up to this season? | A short recap | Currently Globally TV Series
It was 3 years ago that I was introduced to the world of English TV Series and I started off by watching Friends.
When I finished watching I was both blown away and circumspect. Blown away because of the reasons the world has already discussed. That was arguably the best sitcom that was ever created both in terms of creative genius and in engaging the audience.
Circumspect because I thought Friends had set the bar so high no TV series will ever be able to match it. It\’s crazy how times have changed and how I was proven wrong. I am writing this now at what could probably be the Golden Era of TV series.
So, here\’s our expectation and predictions for what lies for the characters from this beloved series.
Let me start with a disclaimer. This list is not based on my favorite characters of the series but based on whom I think will be the most important 14 characters in the coming 2 seasons.
13. Ser Davos Seaworth
The most skillful negotiator and Jon Snow\’s most trusted advisor. Besides that, the man is one of the very few honorable war lords left alive in Westeros. With the actual war at the Westeros\’ doorstep, Jon snow will need every ally he can get and Davos will be crucial in getting those allies on board.
At the end of Season 6: Davos was angry with Melisandre for Princess Shireen\’s murder and he is now with Jon Snow as his ally.

12. Cersei Lannister and Euron Greyjoy
I might face a lot of flak for keeping these 2 so lower down the order. Let me explain why.
Cersei Lannister. The prophecy is already out there that she will be killed by her brother and there\’s a growing feeling that this brother would be Jaime and not Tyrion. I just don\’t see her past the 7th season and given how tragic and mad she has become, the prophecy for her death might be sooner rather than later.
At the end of Season 6: Cersei murders everybody who stood her way using wildfire and has ascended the Iron throne as Queen of Westeros
Favorite Quote(s):
Euron Greyjoy:
Season 6 ended with Dany sailing towards Westeros with her big ass fleet. The trailers n teasers for S7 suggest Dany in Dragonstone and not at Kings Landing. The only person in Westeros who is capable of messing up Danny\’s fleet is Euron Greyjoy, who possibly might have made a coalition with Cersei to stop Danny\’s fleet from capturing Kings Landing. Some of my friends who have read the book have told Euron is the most dangerous guy at the moment and hence he might have a big role to play in Season 7. But I don\’t see him having a role in the Final war.
At the end of season 6: Euron after ascending the Salt Throne is building the largest fleet possible to get ready for the war and also to murder his nephew and niece, Yara and Theon Greyjoy.
11. Lord \’The Spider\’ Varys
Along with Littlefinger, they make the most intriguing duo. Consider this. A eunuch with no family name, no wealth. But, no man, not even the mighty Tywin Lannister dared to piss Varys off. Why?
The man has an ear for every part of Westeros and has a friend in each and every family. There\’s also a mystery to his character which we are yet to see and this makes him even more intriguing.
At the end of season 6: Varys is discovered to be the mastermind behind Oleanna Tyrell and Ellaria Sand\’s alliance against Cersei and he pledges his loyalty to Daenerys and he is seen with the mother of dragons and Tyrion in the flagship.

10. Petyr Baelish aka Littlefinger
Arguably, the man who started all the terrible chaos by murdering Jon Arryn in the first season. He\’s a man of ambition and will leave no stone unturned to achieve them. Varys described him perfectly when he said Littlefinger will be OK to get to the throne even if it means he\’s going to rule the ashes. Off late, he\’s running out of options and might lose his head during the season 7. Or not. He has the ability to create a sibling rivalry between Sansa and Jon Stark. With Littlefinger, you never know what trick he has up his sleeve.
At the end of Season 6: Littlefinger was a big help to Jon Snow and Sansa Stark in recapturing Winterfell against the monster Ramsay Snow. After the war, he tries to convince Sansa to ascend Iron Throne and it is expected that he will try to bring a wedge between Jon Snow and Sansa Stark.

9. Theon Greyjoy
From a cocky, arrogant ward of winter fell to the most tragic characters in GoT, Theon surely is headed for a heroic ending (or death). When, How, Why?? I don\’t know any of those. But he sure looks like headed for a heroic ending.
At the end of Season 6: Theon along with Yara escapes their evil uncle Euron and joins the mother of dragons and is last seen at the Daenerys\’s fleet on their way towards Westeros.
Favorite Quote:
8. Sansa Stark
Will she be the Lady of Winter fell or will she be manipulated by Littlefinger and pitted against Jon??
Given Littlefinger\’s track record, I wouldn\’t be surprised if he messes up Sansa. I\’m not gonna lie here. She\’s my least favorite of all the Starks.
At the end of Season 6: After joining hands with her half-brother/cousin Jon Snow, Sansa Stark finally gets her revenge against her sadistic husband Ramsay and she is finally showing signs of confusion after Littlefinger says she is the one to sit on the Iron Throne.

7. Samwell Tarly
This will certainly be an unpopular choice on the list. But remember, Stannis Baratheon understood the importance of Sam\’s scholarly knowledge in the war against the army of the dead. He was last seen on that big library doing what he loves the most. Reading. Don\’t be surprised if he brings in some significant input to the final warn his reunion with Jon will be something.
At the end of Season 6: Sam has finally reached the place he is deserved to be. The Citadel to become a Maester. He is last seen entering the gigantic library of Citadel and he is set to find the right defense against the white-walkers.

6. Bran Stark
The Warg of Winterfell who can\’t walk but have the dreams of flying someday. Does that mean he will be one of the 3 riders of Danny\’s Dragons?? Also, he is the one guy who can let Jon about his parents and his roots
At the end of season 6: After the heartbreaking death of Hodor, Bran and Meera meets Benjen Stark and finally, Bran accepts he is the Three-eyed Raven and he witnesses Lyanna Stark\’s death and birth of her child with Rhager Targarean, alleged to be Jon Snow.

5. Jaime Lannister
Talk about character development. One of the most Grey characters in the series. He can kill a king he swore to protect so that he can protect thousands and he can also push a kid to death to save himself and his love. That is a man we would all love to hate. Will the Kingslayer become the Queenslayer too? There\’s also a fan theory which says that it will be a man with a Golden Hand who will kill the Night\’s King. Imagine what could that look like.
At the end of Season 6: Jaime Lannister just returns to King\’s Landing after winning against Blackfish and he is shocked to see the damaged Great Sept and also, to realize their last living child is also dead and his sister/lover has done the very thing he wanted to stop Mad King from doing.
Favorite Quote:
4. Arya Stark
The Ultimate survivor. The most skilled assassin trained by the Many faced God himself. I\’d be personally mad if this badass girl does not have a happy ending. Her reunion with Jon Snow and Nymeria (her dire wolf) is one of the reasons why I\’ll be watching the series so closely.
At the end of Season 6: Enough with her torturous training as No one, Arya Stark finally accepts she can never be No one, returns Westeros and treacherous Walder Frey along with his sons are her first victim of vengeance.
Favorite Quotes:
3. Tyrion Lannister
My Personal favorite in the whole series. I can go on and on about this man. Let\’s cut to the point. The only person who is honorable but can play the game well. The dwarf who had the balls to unchain a dragon with his bare hands. There\’s also a theory he\’s half Lannister and half Targaryen. Would that make him the 3 most important humans in the war against the dead along with Dany and Jon? Also, he\’s a Lannister who unite the Targaryens(Dany) and Starks(Jon). The only way the war can be won is if the Lannisters, Starks and the Targaryens put up a united front and Tyrion along with Varys are the ones capable of forging that Alliance.
At the end of Season 6:Tyrion has become the Hand of the Queen to Daenerys and he is returning Westeros with the Unsullied, Dragons and the Mother of Dragons herself.
Favorite Quote:
2. Daenerys Targaryen
The girl who had nothing is now arguably the most powerful Queen with the most powerful army. Her Dragons have the greatest role to play. But, I somehow feel like she too will end up dying along with one of her dragons. I just don\’t see an ending where both she and Jon snow survive. Remember the vision she had at the house of Undying?? It said she will eventually reunite with her Khal and the baby.
At the end of Season 6: Khaleesi is finally back to what she wanted all of 6 seasons. To sit on her father, Mad King\’s Iron Throne and exact her vengeance. She is seen in the huge fleet filled with Unsullied, Dragons with Tyrion, Varys, Greyjoys, Missandei and Grey Worm.
Favorite Quotes:
1. Jon Snow
There\’s a reason GRRM named this series \’ A song of Ice and Fire\’. Despite all the differing opinions I just can\’t look past the fact that this story is about the bastard of winter fell who was reborn as Azor Ahai to save the world. Jon Snow is the only guy who managed to have the Night\’s king worried (watch the episode \’Hardhome\’). He\’s half Targaryen(Fire) and half Stark(Ice).
At the end of Season 6: The Starks have finally something to smile about as Jon Snow with help of Sansa\’s contacts takes over Winterfell from Ramsay Bolton and is elected as the King in the North after nominated by Lyanna Mormont, the proud little warrior.
Favorite Quote:
\’ Sometimes there is no happy choice. Only one less grievous than the others\’
Also, watch out for Lyanna Mormont, Brienne of Tarth, Bronn, The Hound, Melisandre, Benjen Stark, Meera Reed, Yara Greyjoy.
Let me end this with a theory of my own. I do believe Stannis Baratheon is still alive and he will be the commander on the ground leading the charge against the night\’s army. Let that sink in.
Excellent written article. it will be supportive to each person who makes use of it. together with me. keep doing what you are doing – can’r wait to study extra posts. Gmod free
