It is friday and Madras Central\’s relatable and lovable Tamil web series \”Livin\” directed by Prabhuram Vyas has come out with its next episode. Episode 5 – Spirit from the Past.

Recap:
Sam (Naveen George Thomas) barges into Harish (Kanna Ravi) – Haritha (Amrutha Srinivasan)\’s house as usual and he and Harish plays FIFA in which Harish loses continuously.
Haritha enters and after some more playing, Haritha gets bored and suggests for a movie-marathon. At the end of which, they play \”Spin the bottle\” and Sam blabbers about Harish\’s college fling leaving Haritha infuriated.
What we liked?
As usual, the performances of the lead three, Kanna Ravi, Amrutha and Naveen George Thomas. But, this time, it is Naveen George Thomas as Sam, who steals the show with his awkward and too realistic portrayal of a nerd with social issues. Even at the end, after realizing he has blabbered something important, he behaves realistic without any too much of drama.
Prabhuram Vyas\’s hilarious yet brilliant dialogues.

Girishh Gopalakrishnan\’s trippy music in the end credits.
What we didn\’t like?
A bit of dubbing issues in Amrutha\’s dialogues. In particular during the movie-marathon scenes.
A fast-ending 15 minutes episode.
Where is Harish\’s sister?!
Our verdict:
A short but sweet episode with a cliff-hanger at the end. Kudos to Madras Central for promoting such bold and deserving work. Eagerly awaiting to hear out the story of Supraja and its aftermath.
