Hurray!! Another Livin\’ episode of 15+ minutes run time. Double-Date is actually a sort of reversal of roles as usually composed Harish in a pissed off mood and Haritha in a cooler spirit than usual.

Recap:
Harish (Kanna Ravi) has a heated argument with his sister Vidhya about Haritha (Amrutha Srinivasan) and the live-in relationship. Manohar uncle invites Harish, Haritha and Sam (Naveen George Thomas) for dinner with his wife. They all meet in fancy vegetarian restaurant, where the conservative maami blasts questions and judges Haritha-Harish\’s relationship and Sam\’s employment status. Haritha mocks Harish about his ex-flame Suppi and that doesn\’t go well with Harish as he smokes after 4 years to control his nerves. Harish and Haritha enter home to find water leaked all over.
What we liked?
Manohar uncle (P.T. Ramesh). For being the innocent character with modern thinking and a character we can easily relate to and like.
Amrutha\’s expressions. Damn. She was gorgeous in today\’s episodes and her performance was top notch after few Harish or IRIS-centric episodes.
Kanna Ravi\’s angry young man portrayal opposed to usual maturity and this makes the very character surreal. Also, the irritated Harish\’s dialogues are even realistic and kudos to Vyas for that.

What we didn\’t like?
Sudha Maami to an extent. For being too dramatic and a bit over-acting. Also, it felt like a stereotypical portrayal of the aunts, and may be that was the whole point.
No IRIS. 🙁
Our verdict:
An episode with realistic performances and a first crack in otherwise beautiful relationship. And a possibility of IRIS getting damaged due to the water leak.
