Magalir Mattum Trailer Review | Jyotika | Tamil movie trailer review | Currently Globally Trailers

The woman is said to be made from the chest bone of a man. She wasn\’t made from skull bone or leg bone but, chest bone to prove she is neither higher or lower to a man but his equal.

But, are they considered to be equal in this male chauvinistic world? We know the practical answer which is a bitter one.

Recently, Tamil cinema gets good woman-centric movies and movies like Iraivi, which is a woman-centric movie revolving around men.

Bramma\’s Magalir Mattum, from its trailer, looks to be one such movie which glorifies the underrated heroes.

From the trailer, we deduct the following, Jyothika is a documentary director and Oorvashi, Bhanupriya and Saranya Ponvannan are childhood friends who parted their own ways and are in completely different places in life. Jyothika\’s documentary unites the three women again and they are taken out for an adventure or soul-seeking ride by Jyothika. Away from their husbands and usual weights pulling them down. What happens next in the ride or what they learn from the journey should be the story\’s second half.

Jyothika looks much younger than her previous movie, 36 Vayathinile and the bubbly actress has slimmed down too. Even, Oorvashi has slimmed down and she looks a bit dull compared to her other movies. Bhanupriya is back to cinema after a long hiatus and she looks younger than expected and her character seems to be a very silent one. Saranya Ponvannan looks confident and she seems to be the wife of drunkard husband, played by talented but underused Livingston. Nassar must be Oorvashi\’s husband and he seems to be a drunkard too.

Jyothika talks a Khaleesi-like dialogue where she talks about kicking the door until it opens or breaks and this seems to be the metaphor for woman oppression and what needs to be done to change it.

Bramma being a national award-winning director of Kuttram Kadithal, can be expected to throw some surprises which might differ much than what trailer depicts and we feel the social message would be hard-hitting and needed one for the present day.

Music has already released and \”Vaadi Thimira\” song has become an instant hit and is already in top 10 songs list despite heavy competition from ARR, Yuvan, and the likes. The cinematography looks vibrant and the locations are attractive.

Overall, we feel the movie would be a good content and socially impacting one and would be a clean movie without any double meaning dialogues and unnecessary violence. Currently globally wishes the whole cast and crew for the movie\’s success.
