Nibunan – Tamil Movie Teaser Review | Action King Arjun | Currently Globally Teaser Review
We have said this already but, I will reiterate it hopefully for the last time. Investigation thrillers are the new horror comedies of Tamil cinema. We have had umpteen number of films with the same genre and most of them have succeeded too. Personally, we feel this change is for good as thrillers are a much better movie genre compared to bordering foolish horror comedies.
Nibunan directed by Arun Vaidyanathan is the latest entry in the list and the director has succeeded largely by picking up the right cast for the movie and we are speaking about Action King Arjun here. Arjun has been the best 90s actor for donning the role of a police officer and to everyone\’s surprise, he remains the same fit Arjun we saw in Jai Hind and his well toned fit physique is the important reason behind it. The movie also has a great cast including Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Prasanna, Sruthi Hariharan, Suman, Suhasini, Sudha Rani and Vaibhav. We kinda actually feel the teaser has revealed a bit more details than necessary and we feel one among the above-mentioned actors might have a meaty role to perform. But, ssh. This is a thriller and we wouldn\’t give you any more clues.
Coming to the thriller, it is personally my most favorite movie genre, serial killer thriller. Few high-profile murders happen on the trot and the murders have few elements in common like the masked victims, code-numbered, tortured and shot after hanging. Arjun leads a task force in investigating the psychotic serial killer murders and the reason behind and finding out the person behind & reason behind the murders should be the crux of the story.
The shots look suave and the teaser has proper cuts suited for thrillers, which increases the tempo of the viewer and choosing a red color tone for the murder and intensive scenes is apt and helps in pacing the viewer\’s pulse. Music is apt for the thriller genre and has an air of familiarity to it and stunt sequences are great as it is one of few things people would expect to be great in Action king\’s movie.
If the screenplay is tight and the suspense is well carried out with few twists, this movie has everything to become the next Dhruvangal 16. Let\’s wait!
