Ok. If you want, we will elaborate. A care-free guy who love his rooster wins the rooster fight against his Guru\’s words. He wins huge sum of money for the same and he becomes a celebrity. But, things take a turn, when his Guru with ugly heart grows deep vengeance and becomes a egoistic maniac who will go to any end to see his disciple suffer. However, the disciple knows none of this and trusts his Guru than anyone else in the world.
A well constructed screenplay about an egoistic maniac wouldn\’t have become a huge hit if the audience couldn\’t relate to the victim. There comes Dhanush with his huge potential and makes us relate and feel for the innocent guy who just sees the positive side of everything.
Right from the Madurai dialect to Lungi style to a sarcastic style of the locality to innocent looks at the end, Dhanush proves why National Award was his, in every single scene.
