Top 5 Songs of Eminem – The Rap God | Currently Globally Music
Marshall Bruce Mathers III who is better known by his alias name Eminem is the world\’s greatest rapper with a phenomenal amount of fans crazy about him. He didn\’t attain this stardom overnight and unlike most artists of the same era, he deserves the stardom and the standard of the music he makes and the meaningfulness of the lyrics he pens is above par.
Currently Globally has decided to make up the Top 5 lists of Eminem and have a look at the list and provide your comments too.
5. The Real Slim Shady
One of the early works of Eminem and one of the songs that propelled him to the place he is now – The Real Slim Shady. Slim Shady is an alter-ego of Eminem and with its quirky music and dark yet comic lyrics, this song is easily likable and hummable. I have had days trying hard to push these lyrics away from me and stop singing \”Please Stand up\” and failed shamelessly.

5. Love the way you lie ft. Rihanna
Despite all arguments, love songs are closer to heart than anything else and this emotionally touching and exceptionally deep song along with Rihanna proves why Eminem is a legend. Sung from the point of view of a loser boyfriend who loves his girl despite being cheated and the emotions are poured down in form of exceptional lyrics combined with a great rhythm. No wonder this song has more than 2 Billion views on Youtube.

4. Rap God
Legends deserve to lose humility and sometimes, they are actually entitled to boast their talents. Like the musical God Ilayaraja\’s \”Puthu Raagam padaipathale naanum iraivane!\” (As I give birth to new rhythms, I am a God too) , Eminem boasts and gloats about him in Rap God and we actually love it and eat it on whole. Actually, this song and the rap is addictive than The Real Slim Shady.

3. Not Afraid
To be a musical genius and to be loved by almost everyone and envied by fellow artists is not all bed of roses and the stardom led Eminem to his prescribed drug addiction and when he broke through all the obstacles and came out of the addiction, he wanted to give a helping hand to fellow addicts in the way he knows best. A song. A treat to us and highly motivational.
P.S. That \”Everybody\” part is just wow 😀

2. Lose Yourself
How Eminem became the Eminem we know? What kinda struggles and fears one had to overcome to become a Rap God? All these and much more were incorporated into the lyrics of Lose yourself from the 2002 movie 8 miles in which Eminem acted. A movie about a white rapper fighting his way to the top in the genre dominated by Afro-Americans. Might be based on his own life, we are not sure but, the lyrics, we are sure is from his win experience. Starting slowly as a melody but, pacing up beautifully, this song is one of the best.

1. Stan ft. Dido
Stars have fans. Fans make stars. But, what if the fan is not just a fan but a crazy one? What if the obsession is too much that the star himself can\’t handle it? This music video is one such obsessed psychotic fan of Eminem and this video has a story of its own and it is as if a short film made with only raps as dialogues. A fan, his pregnant girlfriend, and Eminem forms the characters and with some impeccable acting by Devon Sawa as Stan, the crazy fan, this video is depressing and acts as a warning light from fans who are bordering the insanity.
