Uru Tamil Movie Trailer Review | Kalaiarasan – Dhanshika | Currently Globally Trailer Review
Slasher movies are a very big rarity in Tamil cinema and even in the whole of Indian cinema except for few talented and courageous directors like Anurag Kashyap. Uru – Tamil movie trailer seems to have come to fill that void.
We have talented but underrated Kalaiarasan (of Madras fame) and Dhanshika (of Kabali fame) as the lead actors and the story seems to be a straightforward one based on the trailer.
Kalaiarasan, an aspiring and failing writer decides to write a thriller based on fear and moves to a secluded villa in some hill station where he is often visited by his girlfriend Dhanshika. The problem comes when they feel a presence of watching eyes, of that of a masked man and the same mystery man tries to kill them. How they escape from him, who is it and why he wants to kill them should form the rest of movie.
The premise looks promising for Tamil cinema even though the same has been used umpteen number of times in Hollywood. Also, the locations and treatment of the movie seem to be really professional and neat by seeing this trailer.
Movies that want to kindle fear succeed majorly if the tone of the movie and tune of the movie are fearsome. Uru looks to be good in both these aspects. The color treatment looks dark and mysterious and music reiterates it.
With good performers on board and also with talented crew, Uru would be a great success if the last but most important factors are good – Story & Screenplay. Let\’s wait for the movie to release to know that too.
