Vikram Vedha | Madhavan, Vijay Sethupathy | Tamil Movie 2017 Trailer review | Currently Globally Trailers
Tamil cinema is crazy about gangster flicks and same Tamil cinema is even crazier for cop flicks and Pushkar & Gayathri\’s Vikram Vedha looks like a perfect movie for both fans.
Gautham Vasudev Menon\’s Kaaka Kaaka was one perfect example of perfect Cop-Gangster movie and yet, it was a classier movie from Gautham Menon and Vikram Vedha looks more rugged and close to reality.
Having classy Madhavan on the same screen with bubbly Arya in Vettai was imaginable but, same Maddy sharing screen with rugged Vijay Sethupathy is just unimaginable and gives a certain thrill to the viewers.
Unsurprisingly, Maddy and Vijay Sethupathi looks like perfect yin-yang combination and the way they speak their dialogues and carry themselves is a treat to eyes. Combined with Sam CS\’s Naan Kadavul-like BGM gives an instant high and leaves you in a trance.
Pushkar and Gayathri, the husband-wife duo, already have experimental movies like Oram Po and Va Quarter in their kitty and they are famous for characters with Grey shades instead of direct black & white. Vikram Vedha\’s movie\’s dialogues and lyrics also point to the same fact and makes us feel both Madhavan and Vijay Sethupathy are men with gray shades and not direct good/bad.
We also have Varalaxmi and talented Kathir playing character roles in the movie and we feel Y Not Studios have a winner in their list with Vikram Vedha. At least the trailer makes us feel so.
