Why I hate Zoos? – Part 1 | Currently Globally Opinion

Year:  2050.
Location: Zoo
The lion name is John.
Its cub\’s name is Eric. He is only 5 years old.
He is going to the zoo for the 1st time.
Eric: Dad, who is that inside this cage?
John: It\’s called \”Human Being\”.
Eric: Is it a male or female?
John: Let me check. It looks like it\’s a male.

Eric: Are there any female human being?
John: Of course. It\’s probably in a different cage. If we put them together, they end up having too much fun and it\’s very gross.
Eric: What do you mean by \”too much\” fun?
John: Never mind. You wouldn\’t understand. It\’s grown-up stuff.
Eric: Why aren\’t they wearing any clothes?
John: They were born naked. It would be uncomfortable for them if we put clothes on their bodies. That\’s why we leave them naked.
Eric: Dad, this one looks different.
John: Yea…he belongs to a different race. That\’s why its skin color is different.
Eric: Hey…wake up…you lazy bum…I want to see your face…wake up.
John: Here is a pebble. Throw at him or use a stick to wake him up.
Eric: Dad, I threw a pebble and he is up. He stares at me and he is shouting at me. He has horrible, very small teeth.
John: I guess, it\’s upset that you disturbed his sleep. However, he shouldn\’t be lazy and sleep all day. We paid to see him and we don\’t want to waste our money.
Eric: I rather feel bad for him. What else can he do if he is in this small cage all day long? That\’s why he is bored and sleeps all day.
John: They used to have their own houses. It had all the freedom there. However, if we go there to see them, they use this weird thing called \”Gun\” and shoot us.
That\’s why we captured them from their houses and put them in the cages. It\’s very safe for us.
Eric: But isn\’t it cruel to take them away from their homes and put them in a cage?

John: who cares? They are not complaining. Are they? Even if they complain or cry, we don\’t understand their language or their emotions. Sometimes, we see tears in their eyes when we take them away from their loved ones, but that\’s fine. We are of a superior race. It\’s ok to take advantage of inferior races to survive and to entertain ourselves.
Eric: What do you mean by “survive”?
John:  Didn’t you eat “Human Kabob” last night?
Eric: Yea…It was yummy.
John: I liked it too. We survive by eating their meat.
Eric: Can’t we survive without eating them?
John: Of course, we can survive without eating them. However, it’s ok to take advantage of them and exploit them. After all, they are just human beings. Therefore, we can use them any way we want.
Eric: Why do we have zoos in every city?
John: Our kids need to learn about human beings and they need to enrich their knowledge about them. In addition, it\’s very entertaining.
Eric: Can\’t we learn about them from magazines and books?
John: That\’s true. We can learn about them from magazines like \”National Geography\” and TV channels like \”Discovery\” etc. However, it\’s not fun.
Eric: How is it more fun and entertaining here in the zoo?
John: I guarantee you that you will have more fun at the zoo.
Eric: But how?
John: See there…They have a show, which is going to start in 15 minutes. In that show, kids can sit on a human being and take pictures. It\’s so much fun.
Eric: Won\’t he bite?
John: No. They bound their mouth with a big tape so that they cannot open their mouth and bite us.
Eric: I see…Isn\’t it what they did to crocodiles 25 years back?
John: Yes, Exactly. They did that to crocodiles. We learned that technique from the human beings.
Eric: Do they have anything else to entertain us here?
John: They have a very EXCITING, AMAZING ride.
Eric: What’s it?
